what to do ?
I'm not sure whether the express edition comes with this, but you want to find a control in the toolbox called Report Viewer.|||Hi FayoubThe first mistake I made when doing this was not having IIS installed on my local machine.
Have you got IIS installed?
Cheers

hi,
first, thanks for your interest.
To answer your question I don't have installed IIS,but I have an Apache server
|||I'm afraid that reporting services needs IIS.You should be able install this from your Win XP CD but based on my experiences you will then probably have to uninstall and reinstall SQl Server express (with advanced services to include reporting services)
|||ok,I heared about Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services Add-in for Microsoft SharePoint Technologies
do you think it could be helpful to deploy my reports.Otherwise,I will work on IIS
|||I have a 64-bit server (Xeon Quad Core) running Windows Server 2003
Standard R2 64-bit. This server is setup as a domain controller, and I
also have Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 running on this same server.
I recently attempted to install SQL Server 2005 Standard on the server.
The disks I have for SQL Server do not specifically say they are the
64-bit version. However during setup, it did say that it was installing
the 64-bit version of the components, with the exception of the
Reporting Services.
I received 1 error during setup which basically said that there was a
problem with Reporting Services registration because I have a 64-bit
version of ASP.NET, and that Reporting Services 32-bit version requires
the 32-bit version of ASP.NET. I have both .NET version 2 and 3
installed, both of which are 64-bit versions.
My question is, how can I install the 64-bit version of Reporting
Services? I am pretty sure the SQL Server 2005 disks I own have both 32
and 64-bit versions on the same disk (because I clearly saw it was
installing 64-bit versions of SQL components, with the exception of the
Reporting Services), although the label on the disks do not specifically
say 64-bit version.
I also realize there is a command that will allow me to run IIS in
32-bit emulation mode and hence allow me to install the 32-bit version
of Reporting Services. However, this mode will not work with Exchange
2007, so using this mode is not an option for me. I must be missing
something here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am not sure if the express edition works with sharepoint.
By default reports are automatically deployed to
http://localhost/reportserver$SQLExpress
For full instructions about setting the deployment server see this article
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/usingssrswithsqlexpress.mspx
Perhaps you should look through the following couple of articles to see what the express edition can and can;t do:
http://www.microsoft.com/sql/technologies/reporting/rsfeatures.mspx
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms365166.aspx
hearsaym I'm afraid I can't help. Perhaps you should post the question i na new topic
