Reporting Services 2005 with SQL 2000 Database

Hi friends, i have some questions about Reporting Services 2005:

Can i use RS 2005 with a SQL 2000 Database? Can i create a report with RS 2005 (with a SQL 2K Database) a show it in a webform? What do i need to install (in the webserver and in the Database server) in order to start designing reports in RS 2005 against a SQL 2K DB?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Eduardo
Any ideas?

I have used Reporting Services from beta of the 2000 version I think all you have to do is configure the datasource to point to the 2000 database and I would use sql authentication to connect to 2000 instead of integrated so you don't run into double hop security issues. Which means SQL Server 2005 will be configured for mixed authentication, enable remote connection, enable both TCP/IP and Named Pipes, in 2005 you do that in the configuration manager and the surface area configuration tool. In 2000 you right click in the server part of Enterprise Manager and go to properties and click on Network configuration to enable both TCP/IP and Named Pipes. In my last project our database runs in 2005 but is was in 2000 mode and we did not have any issues. Hope this helps.
