When trying to print an RS2005 report, I keep getting the error "Unable to
load client print control". This is because the RSClientPrint ActiveX
control is not loaded. I have noticed that in IE7 Beta is not automatically
prompting to download the control. Has anyone been successful in running
this under IE7? I am using 7.0.5112.0, Beta 1.
* "Enable download for the ActiveX client print control" is enabled on the
server.
* Report Server added to the Trusted Sites list
* Download Signed ActiveX Controls = Enable
* Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting = Enable
* Automatic Prompting for ActiveX Controls = Enable
Works fine under IE6.
Thanks,
-sYou may want to insure that it is enabled.
Tools->Internet Options->Programs->Manage Add-ons
If RSCleintPrint Class is enabled, you may want to delete it and allow
it to be reinstalled.
Hope you get it to working,
Lonsql

Reporting Services 2000 Document Map Does not appear in IE7 RC1
Hello Microsoft,
When I installed IE7 RC1, i've noticed that the RS 2000 Document map
does not appear on the reports that I have. Is there any way to fix
this? I've tried everything that I can.
Thanks. Not just a bug in RC1 anymore its Live baby. Way to go msft...
Lets go through 3 betas and an RC1 candidtate and leave a change that breaks
one of your own crown jewel applications in the business intelligence line...
Such an oxymoronic move that was...breaking a business intelligence app is
just plain stupid.
Ok Ok so we are supposed to Upgrade to 2005... but still thanks a F... lot.|||Yep - confirmed in the live version.
So what now Microsoft?
Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?sql
