Reporting Services 2000 With SQL Server 2005

Dear all,
I am using Reporting Services 2000 with SQL Server 2000 and .NET
FrameWork 1.1
My client wants to migrate the DataBase to SQL Server 2005.
The reports *.rdl are hosted by the IIS Web Server running .NET
Framwork 1.1
The question is very simple:
Can I change the SQL Server 2000 to 2005 without migrating the reports
that are under the Visual Studio 2003?
OR
Do I have to migrate the reports to 2005 as well?
Best regards,
Stefan
